How much does a hovercraft cost?
It really depends on how much you want to spend and what size hovercraft you want, do you want a hobby or recreational hovercraft or do you want to earn some income with it.
Turbo Hovercraft (Australia) are very reputable, they manufacture new hovercraft and sell second hand craft around 3.5 to 4 metres in length. A new hovercraft from Turbo, can cost around AU$25,000 and a second hand one between AU$3,500 and AU$15,000 depending on age, check for their specials, Nell Fabrications in New South Wales, Australia have an excellent reputation, having manufactured Hovercraft for many years,
I would recomend a look at the SEVTEC hovercraft, these are very new and appear to provide an alternative to the traditional skirt system.--- please let them know that you saw it on the Hovergo SG website. (We would be happy to quote you on building a Sev craft for your purposes.
Larger hovercraft like the big super craft manufactured in Queensland can cost anywhere from AU$75,000 to above AU$250,000. These are world class hovercraft and well proven excellent machines.
Generally though you can expect to pay from AU$35,000 to AU$125,000 and more for a hovercraft able to carry a reasonable load.
