Can I 'Camp-Out' on the islands?
If you go with a group you can camp out in tents or make arrangements with the cattlemen's association to use the rustic camp huts on one small section of the island. The Island Cattlemen hold campouts and you will have a wonderful time around the campfire at night, listening to their stories.
The famous Ninety Mile Beach starts at Bentley Point on Snake Island (no snakes, just koalas, kangaroos and Hog Deer) and continues almost unbroken along the 90 Mile Beach on the south East Coast of Australia, well past Lakes Entrance.
Our small hovercraft carries 3 couples to areas of scenic beauty or to remote secluded areas for the ultimate getaway.
We can deliver fishermen to the best fishing places in the inlet, places where no other person can fish except by hovercraft. I have seen Flathead 2 feet long and other very large fish trapped in the inaccessible pools.
Weather is of course a determining factor and we do not leave port if the wind exceeds 15 knots because it's no fun beach walking in strong wind.
