Port Welshpool Video Trials

March 2-3, 2002


world-vic-map_250.jpg The Monash Aerobotics team are currently experimenting with different types of R/C aircraft platforms for airborne stills and live video systems. The latest trials took the team to Port Welshpool on the south eastern coast of Victoria, Australia

On the day, those participating were Monash Profs. Greg 'Biggles' Egan and John Bird (behind the camera), Monash Aerobotics team members Terry 'Captain Video' Cornall, and Ray 'Hawkeye' Cooper (pilot and avionics specialist)


Also participtating on the day were local businessmen Roger McDonald and Gus Kok, landowner Graeme Goding, Roger's daughter Sonja and Greg's son Sean.

Thanks are also due to Graeme and his wife Bev, to Ian and Jenny Round and Max Kirwin for access to their properties.
